This radio item from November 2013 shines a light on a global issue: homelessness.

This radio item is about the people that do.
Bas van Sluis immersed himself in the life of homelessness by leaving behind all comfort for as long as he could bear it, just to see what it was like to be homeless. He wrote about his experiences in this article (in Dutch).
Ritzo ten Cate works on bridging the gap between homeless people and those willing to have a chat outside of their regular comfort zone. With his Facebook page he has been succesful in motivating people to just sit down and talk with homeless people occasionally.
